I deleted RIM&#039;s Twitter app less than 8 hours after installing it. Not being able to turn it off (or at least pause it) was one reason (though it occurred to me later that I could log out instead). The major reasons were a) it only allowed the evil &quot;new&quot; retweet method and b) the five minute update cycle is too slow (I&#039;m impatient enough with UberTwitter&#039;s 2-minute updates).
I don&#039;t remember now why I chose Uber over Seesmic... I did give them both a good try shortly after Seesmic launched.</description>
